Becoming a dad introduces a stiff learning curve. Somehow I made it through the pregnancy without causing too much damage to my wife and kid. I was fortunate enough to have other guys who are ahead in this journey share their wisdom. This helped tremendously with meeting the needs of my wife while managing work, home and baby preparations. Still, despite all of their manly wisdom, we were collectively left in the dark when it came to the more basic questions, especially baby and prenatal terminology. Having recently emerged from this stage of parenthood, many of these terms are fresh in my mind. To contribute to the pool of wisdom I have made a prenatal cheat sheet for those of you who want the upper hand on the lingo.
