Our sister-in-law really came through when she introduced us to Weleda Calendula Diaper Care, AKA magic in a bottle. This stuff will knock out a diaper rash in a hurry and will also relieve irritation. For a cream to be any cooler you would have to make it an all natural product- which it is. At about $14 for the small tube this stuff isn’t exactly cheap, but we found it’s a small price to pay for such amazing results. Thankfully, a little goes a long way. To be fair we have never had to use this product to treat a full blown diaper rash, but we have used it preemptively on trouble spots to great effect.
Dad says: You’d be surprised how much could be said about baby diaper cream. After dealing with a stinky diaper, this stuff really freshens up a once hot mess. With just one treatment we have seen the beginnings of a rash disappear by the next diaper change. Not only does it treat rashes, but it also forms a barrier to wick moisture away.
Mom says: Easy to use, and it smells really good. It’s almost like the clean baby smell right after a bath. We love this stuff. Only complaint is that it can very difficult to clean up if it gets on an area that you did not intend to treat.
Owen says: What happened to my dad? He use to be so cool and promising, now he spends his free time writing about baby butt cream.
Rating:
This is an easy 5 out of 5. It delivers on everything a diaper cream can promise, so I’d say this is a must have if your baby is experiencing problems with diaper rash. It is pricey, but it keeps a baby’s bottom healthy enough to remain the standard for softness.
